This is absolutely my personal feel about my watch-list that went repeat mode ..making movies and getting watched usually steps into the normal view pattern but sticking on the styles and themes and making watch again calls up to our favorite movie list ..Whatever mood we are hooked in ,there are some magical ones that makes u sweep out completely..

While listing out the flicks what comes first will be the characters JAI,VEERU,THAKUR,GABBAR,BASANTI ..well when you hear the names itself one can scream aloud about the movie which I will be brewing around ...!!
SHOLAY

The long running movies and after its blusterous victory that waved all over the box office counters everyone renamed for every success movie THE SHOLAY EFFECT..!!! What will be the situation of a Bollywood library without mentioning the 1975 classic Sholay ..unbelievable...the strong dialogues and even stronger screenplay are the ones that makes you feel sticky on this movie..there are several unknown facts that took place on making the film ,the film which took 2 years for the making and several casting methods were experienced, charting out a dual hero subject and a more stronger antagonist with a story-line that was never told in the language of movie making  ..

The action packed with all the commercial elements is still made into the chapters of movie making where one can easily glue to the standards of cinema..

Sholay was never the star cast which we saw in theatres ..earlier the casting was Danny Denzongpa on the shoes of Gabbar Singh ,Shatrugnan Siha on the role of Jai and Dharmendra onto the role of Thakur when the screenplay was revised the character Veeru was added when Dharamji who had a crush on Hema Malini was easily nodded when Veeru's love interst was Basanti which was played by Hema and there were stories that during the making Dharmendra used to pay the light boys for making retakes in technical where he can spare time with the combination scenes with Hema and interestingly Hema was married to Dharamji 5 years after the release...  anyways blabbering the behind stories on the making I am sure one who gets to see the film in television may not change the channel when the famous one liners once being heard ..

A Bollywood movie  mentioning the dark sides of Bombay which portrays the real side and casting the best performers totally in a film ..there you get the best powerful movie of all time I am  noting none other than the Vidhu Vinod Chopra film PARINDA 

Anil Kapoor, Jackie Sharoff, Nana Patekar, Madhuri Dixit, Anupem Kher ... what a maniac need for watching this 1989 cult one..whether the frames or the dialogues or the evilness one find in the Mumbai slums we just get magnetized towards the treatment Vidhu Chopra delivers ..I still gets panic when Nana comes on screen and screams when he sees fire and the sounded sequence brings you frozen in may times while watching the film ...sweeping out Filmfares on the year wasn't a shock for any one because it truly deserves the applause...

Next to Parinda the another movie that makes me see all the time would be a sporty film with the new kid on the block one can nowadays call him the Perfectionist the Aamir Khan starrer Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander directed by Mansoor Khan

I would say this will be the first movie that I liked from Mr.Aamir Khan and I would say the best climax which we gets stunned till the end ,although it is a cliche made one ,one may not believe that till the end they won't take their eyes off from  the story .Songs ,locations, characters, comedy ,sentiments ..what all things that are wrapped in this flick remains a cult classic one ..When the rom-coms takes place this will the one that comes in every maniac's minds at first The first full length slow motion song picurised in the locales of Ooty with Udit Narayan's soothing voice rendering on Aamir Khan's lips ..Pehla Nasha Pehla Khuma ...those who fall for romance might not say this is not the song they loved ..magical spell all over the movie ..till now one of the best sport films ever made in the backdrops of campus ...

After the two genre films one with highly packed dramas and the other lighter comedy ,here comes the one that still shocks on the plot and also the lead character featuring Shah Rukh Khan In & as Baazighar ..the movie that released in 1993 into the dark shades of the heavily made revenge drama on the paths of romantic thriller ..

One may not believe the mind travel of Ajay played by SRK where you see him romancing the lady love and killing his love by throwing her down from the terrace building ,the evilness once you see him through the film I am sure you will think twice in getting this man in person ...the performance was such live and wicked in reels No wonder Shah Rukh Khan bagged his First Filmfare Award for this bombastic performance and this would be the first one can see the SRK-Kajol magical combination and the songs by Anu Malik has still cult follows when you get to hear on your head fones the voices of Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik ...totally equipped thriller one and still the movie is still live when you get the film to your screens




Coming onto the next flick will be another dual hero plot ,this time they won't roar for anger but on laughter ..the directer's craftsman in getting the bankable Salman Khan & Aamir Khan playing the equally important ones in Andaaz Apna Apna filmed by Rajkumar Santhoshi

The loosely based human version of Tom & Jerry this would be the major reason in watching this cult movie ..the hilarious one liners performed by Sallu & Aamir on the shoes of Amar & Prem will tickle your minds with the cartoonistic performances  I would say when this film comes on television whatever mood you are hooked ,this will be the prescription note one gets out from it ..the performances delivered by all the actors are up to the top notes The surprising factor this movie did not make a massive theater run which the film had a tight competition with bigger films like 1942 A Love Story,Krantiveer & Hum Aapke Hain koun ..?? the light made film had drowned in theatres later the film had made a huge fan based follow up emerging the cassette and DVD sales in hours and still the torrent searches for this particular movie would be the highly revisited..

The 1994 flick had hammered barriers of several comedies baked in Bollywood with the fun factors whelmed by the Khans .Santhoshi and the Producer Vinay thought of making a movie under serious theme casting Aamir in the,lead but as Santhoshi made two of his films under serious elements,he would like to make a fun film and there the pre-production stage worked out with a dual hero subject casting Salman as the other man  in the lead.The dialogues Ouui Maa and Aila were cracked by many of the youngsters by playing pranks in their daily lives.A comedy movie that has got the viewership in television channels with a cult movie for the entertainment lovers would be the first nail tool to adore this fun film ...!!!


As for me these movies were my so called films that hooked me in fun and thrill modes,but romance without Bollywood is like a hot cup of tea without a sugar bag.There comes the star pair SRK-Kajol magic which blossoms the romantic tale Dilwale Dulhaina Le Jayenge (DDLJ) releasing in 1995 filmed from Yash Raj Films with Adithya Chopra wearing the directer's hat

The Raj-Simran romance you see is the typical love story one saw before boy falls for girl,objections takes place between boy and girl's parents and boy impresses the surroundings of the girl and finally the green flag waved by the girl's parents lending her hand towards the boy .well apart from the skeleton plot,it is the treatment of the plot that makes the viewers fall in love with this cult classic one..we have came across many of these stories in real but presenting it in the formulas of cinema and that too in a brilliant way is the main applause..the movie that ran packed houses for years and ending as the most long time running movie in the history of Bollywood breaking the SHOLAY
effect..!!!!

Those who want to take their soulmate to a movie which they love their first choices wont exclude DDLJ for sure...

Then for years there were many flicks that went on the formulas of DDLJ and many serious dramas like Parinda but after the long years in 2001 a movie released breaking the entire theorems that has so far proved in Bollywood success formulas a star combination which has shaken by their extremely different styles and the way they appeared on screen was absolutely techno in all senses ...
A fresh film maker debut with the dashing songs that came on trailer with the earth taking visuals along with the handsome and pretty faces on screen reciting the simple tale of friendship,love & fun ..talking about none other than the Farhan Akhtar film DIL CHAHTHA HAI

Akash,Sameer,Sidharth ...these names were common until after the release we automatically gets reminded on the characters played in DCH...Another Aamir Khan starrer with the buddies played by Saif Ali Khan & Akshaye Khanna in the lead and the exciting part was the movie at first was not received by the rural areas at first but when it came to the treatment with the mouth publicity that has shaken everywhere the DCH fever strike the bonds of all relationships Preity Zinta's juicy hair  Aamir Khan's goaty beard & Akshaye's bald look created a new fashion follow up on the entire nation and the most funniest part is after the tremendous 15 years this movie is still looking fresh in all senses ..when u people scream Goa or a long trip ,you may pack your bags in your car keeping the road trip styles of Akash ,Sameer and Sidh .the film's total freshness lies not only on screen but off screen -Ravi K Chandran's colourful frames and Shankar Ehsaan Loy's magical musical score brings newfangled parts of the movie making ...

The freshness of the movie even lies in the poster designs which makes one get the movie watched within fraction of seconds ...bagging National Awards on that year and that too a coming of age tale was the first time experimented in Indian Cinema.

After the DCH fever the next movie that hooked me was another movie from Vidhu Vinod Chopra Productions directed by Rajkumar Hirani enacted by Sanjay Dutt titled as Munna Bhai MBBS the vein breaking comedies that are scripted to screen was the major eye factor on this must watch movie 

We have seen Sanju Baba donning jaw breaking action sequences and larger than life avatars and in between he had done comic roles also but getting applauds on the whole and that too in a central character is the first time for a Sanjay Dutt film .

A goon getting inside the medical college as there were much more emotional quotients in friendship,family and love ..the script treatment were the extra pulse points in this fun venture... washing out all the tensions by one single scene in this film will put a guarantee note that every sadness gets melt in the flavored scoop from the film ...

after 3 year again one more movie that strike crazy factor was an Aamir Khan starrer which was actually a multi starrer where not the lead character but the stronger screenplay and direction emerged as the hero ... Rakesh Omprakash Mehra who is termed as one of the promising film makers had hammered his box office ringers in one such venture...talking about the Bhagath Singh's mission towards his freedom struggle for his nation which is yet repeated in the independent India with our present surroundings. yeah I am brewing about  the 2006 blockbuster RANG BE BASANTI...!!!!!

a foreigner who was trying to be an aspiring docu-fiction film maker ..in search for the cast of the freedom fighters she gets to meet the urban group where their thoughts towards Azaadi and the system that were suffocated and swallowed by the typical feudalism surrounded. the leads were so lively in performances we had never experienced such wave lengths in acting ..whether its Aamir Khan, Siddharth, Atul Kulkarni, Soha Ali Khan, Madhavan, Kiron Kher, Sharman Joshi, all of them bowled ur attention by their flawless avatars... the editing of PS Bharathi and the frames drawn by Binod Pradhan was simply outstanding

the film had showered the new style of film making ,the narration, the key areas of proper research , this resulted for a perfect tailored cult venture..which resulted as a film which can be referred to anyone for a must watch before digging second thoughts.

As Bollywood nears their style of presentation with subjects of innovation...many cult ventures went and came but what makes our eyes cooling ones stays ...and on the next year..another inspirational one where we stand up rock steady with pride...the sports movie where any Indian can suggest for his his near pal to watch...sports and nation love..there u get hooked with the sport which our nation was in pride but not that fan followed up ...hockey...yes its none other than CHAK DE INDIA...!!!!!!

We have seen Raj,Rahul,Amar and all lover boys through this King Khan ..but toeing his shoe laces for the stubborn National Coach Kabir Khan was totally different toast for the film lovers...with respect  we gets to watch this sports movie...every nation love will stand and scream for the films entire flows ...the team he comes for training and the ladies hockey team where he has to raise his veins in patching up the team for winning the gold for his nation ...Shah Rukh Khan has proved again that he can  do even serious roles with applauds in theater halls..without any lady loves or dance moves..SRK stood rock steady in his cool avatar...the sport love which every Indian missed towards hockey was awakened through this light hearted venture...

Chak De India is one such film that had got all praises worldwide for its perfect presentation on its performances beyond SRK... I was stunned by the energy levels the cast had maintained through the paces created in the motion film .. for all the movie buffs out there this was one of the perfect cuisine  for ur enlightened eyes...

Many films following the styles of these movies came and left their success formulas with applauds but an innovative content and a stronger film to wait went a bit long...well as every movie lover enjoys the gap for getting a perfect tailed film to cross his hearts... from the shades n moments of Charlie Chaplin classics a Bollywood drama came to the screen that went another milestone in the Bollywood box offices.. Ranbir Kapoor ...Priyanka Chopra..Ileana ..the love story of the mute lead ..BARFI..

Love stories were always rich in Bollywood scenarios from the ancient times of Bollywood to the 90s  but a mute love story which is spoken with emotions and expressions that too the leading pair was a bit confusing when it neared into productions  but as the first print of this venture came to screens everyone loved Ranbir with his never before cute performance where each person loved to pamper his mind blowing rasas..Priyanka and Ileana who were not placed as the back drop for a male eccentric character..but beyond this love story it showered the differences of two types of affection ... one for her conditional love towards the innocent Barfi and the other who is  dumb n deaf  and her unconditional affection towards him which brings tears n love towards their unbroken love ...as the tale ends ..every Love story has a perfect bonding on their times...and this love story turned out to be the sugarful ingredient throughout...

BOLLYWOOD MOVIES now and then creates hype curiosity factors in magnetizing the moods for every maniac to theaters but gifting a fresh content and repeating that movie to his fav lists is quite difficult one..but heaping its turn over and there ...there were few movies in my list that broke my tensions n tears by such pleasures there Bollywood ventures had brought so far..

HEART MELTING TALES...!!!!!

While plugging my laptop, my hard disk & heating up a hot cup of Nescafe on my table ..to arise my happy times ...movie watching would be my first and last hobby which always bring a smile in me...and proud to say that recently I had gone through some heart melting Tamil films ...so happy our South Indian Cinema still keep in making stories of family bondage...
Listing out some tales that melt your emotions and hats off unto the writer and directer in crafting such stories in the language of cinema..!!!!!

AMMA KANAKKU which was released this year had given an interesting story of  a widowed mother who struggles in getting her daughter make pass and get rid of the subject Mathematics and for that the mom takes a wide step which shuts down every eye balls .Focusing on the current emotions of a normal Indian woman ,the leading lady is also has a dream of getting her daughter to higher dreams and she has a fright that she dont want her daughter to be like her who is a house servant.Well from this neat storyline ,one might get glued to watch it on screen ...Amala Paul ,Yuvasree ,Revathy are the lady powers behind the performance department. We had seen many women oriented themes through reels but breaking all belts this movie had proved one factor in loud form MOTHER is always A MOTHER ..she dreams ..and keeps on holding her daughter in safe wings...well

Actor Dhanush more than keeping her acting career in colourful zones he has proved he will be one of the keen producers in putting Tamil ventures with much stronger plots on screen.Amala Paul who was the main lead had given a stellar performance throughout with the young Yuvasree who is having an equivalent role and also challenging. Samuthirakani who has given many notable roles..this time tickles down the hilarious head master with his much serious gestures... Ilayaraja's musical Score will make you smile and give a much refreshing mood which may adore the cinematic experience...Claps to the lady captain Ashwini Iyer for writing and directing such neat movie on screen.


THENMERKU PARAVAIKATRU (2010)

Another bonding movie that shows maternity in its core..I am late in getting the movie to watch ...well bagging all the National Awards for the venture didnt shock me for its ultimate script..well the duration of the movie is around hardly 1 hour 47 minutes...but you will be hooked with the performances of the leading actors this was Vijay Sethupathy's first ever leading role and as a newcomer he gave much maturity on his neat appearance..

Well it is a women centric movie and we wont take our eyes way from Saranya Ponvannan's character and the raw avatar she gives in showering the mother love is simply mind blowing one... Seenu Ramaswamy who had given some meaningful movies needs to be applauded in delivering such small movies with bigger messages...Those who havent noticed this film sure needs to get the prints on your screens...those who stands strong on mother love will definitely gets bowled by the feature presentation.


APPA (2016)

Well he had talked about mother love and her participation in getting her kids to higher levels in the society..well not only other even father has equal importance in raising the kids and getting them educated...Samuthirakani had not visualized just the importance of a father but also how to make their kids return the respect and love to their fathers ...The actor and directer who had delivered the path breaking Subramaniyapuram this time has given a very strong message a movie that not only point on the responsibilities a father should have but also in portraying his stand on his kids dreams in stead of pressurizing their dreams ...

Samuthirakani as an actor and directer had done a double jeopardy in keeping the movie to stronger paths ,the other actors and some fresh faces had given a very much neat parts throughout the movie J Vignesh from Kakka Muttai and Yuvasree from Amma Kanakku had given a stunning performances throughout the film ...claps to the directer in keeping justice on such young talents ...We can again hear Ilayaraja's massive BGM Scores which will give many touching emotions especially when the movie travels though the tragic end.

NEDUNCHALAI (2014)

We had also seen many love sagas from Tamil Cinema but a love story based on early ages with some jaw breaking action scenes .as for me this movie brings some magnetic moments of 80s Malayalam Cinema which shows some village emotions and the setting that keeps on the tea shops ,lorries,truck drivers ,henchmen,beautiful girls etc ..it gives a brilliant feel in setting up the period Director Krishna who had earlier given the coming up age romance Sillunu Oru kadhal ,this time had tackled the treatment on a topsy turvy way...

An engaging love saga with a revenge that takes by the good v/s bad..We have seen such performance from Subrahmaniyam times but when it comes unto the new talents , the way the actors enact their scripted characters has crossed new branches of acting levels rather than performing extreme melodramas on screen ..Aari and Sshivada ,the pair who blossoms their romance on screen at first you will find locking horns each other but when it comes to the second half we find the real love showers from the situations the directer writes ...From the usual duet and dance numbers it is the inner thoughts that take the viewer fall in love with the movie..Sathya who had given some one time wonder songs in Tamil...this time hits the clock with some dashing songs and some well shot scenes .
from the supporting acting department we can see Prasanth Narayan from Bollywood and Salim Kumar from Mollywood with some raw performances were eye catchy ones which should be appreciated rather than watching with the usual cast...
anways applauds and whistles to the film makers in making such innovative thoughts from thoughts towards silver screenzz...

MOHENJO DARO SWALLOWED...!!!!!

With so many multiple decisions and coin tosses...went for the epic venture Mohenjo Daro...actually I was half interested coz of the impression which was created by its trailer was not up to the mark..but when we have trust on the film maker who had gifted Lagaan,Swades & Joddha Akbar ,we just ignore the trailer treatment.... finally booked my ticket and had a expectation like the dialogue where Salimkumar says "Chilappol Biriyani Koduthaalo"

coming towards the review notes...I am totally disappointed with the film...heard that the makers of the film had spent 3 years on the paper works ... the pre production and production stages were time swallowed due to the PERFECTION..!!!! from the beginning the team had mentioned that film is absolutely part of fiction work and its nothing related to the real incidents..well in that case why such a title and the background setting...explaining a tale of the greed created by the King and the people who survived during the destruction that took on the time of Indus Valley Civilization and blah blah blah...sad to say even the back benchers of the early history class and the guys who yawn at the history text book might have much more clarity with the idea of a tale that painted history...

Selling a film project with the attached bankable names like Hrithik Roshan  A.R. Rahman   wont create magic in front of the viewers I would say the film misleads false info to the viewers..those who are not aware of the subject might find different but those who are aware...might keep get shocked with your mouths wide open..performance wise Hrithik Roshan took his hard times in carrying the film's soul on his shoulders..but will get tensed on the celebrations that take place in Mohenjo Daro which might think that such richness were there during 2016 BC and also on Rosshan's energetic dance moves sometimes look awkward while peeping towards history... Pooja Hegde has nothing to do so far just to look pretty ....there are some sequences scratched from Hollywood but coming into the cinema we just dont bother as there are few moments that atleast hook the viewers...Muraleedharan CK 's cinematography shud be praised in creating an impression on the movie's total visual impact A.R. Rahman 's background and original score was well made which take you to international standards...but on the whole when we come to know the first movie that tells the tale on the unknown facts which took on the Mohenjo Daro ...expectations will be built on high...and when it fails from the director of great films..depression occurs ...well hope the film maker will erase the shade by spelling magical light with his next film....

LE KABALI FEVER..!!!!!!!!

Just days...hours..minutes...seconds left for tick tacking the clock bells ....Yes..the grand arrival of Kabaleeshwaran....who ?what? how?...c'mon guys everyone knows who exactly is Kabaleeshwaran ..in other words...KABALI....well the walk...the look...the style..the killing smile...who else can on earth can be called the king of styles....the one and only Style Mannan...SUPERSTAR RAJINIKANTH

Well the release date gets near more and more crazy things occurs ...taking from the teaser release itself which created a wave in huge forms in online streams.The official online teaser had created a crazy mania worldwide,when the undisputed king Rajinikanth returns on screen as Kabali. The teaser clocked over 4 millions in one day and still it is being viewed which has resulted the highest viewed teaser of all times .More than 26 million views for just a minute 6 seconds visuals....
Kabali which is the actor's 161st film where he plays a menacing gangster which is reportedly inspired from a real life don
The shot where Rajini Sir himself introduces the mass liner KABALI DA!!!!! with the clubbed regal arrogance demurs the entire world to craziness.

Expectations for this gangster drama had already peaked rock steady in most parts .The high octane action sequences where one can see their favourite Super Star of all time ...no words just topsy turvy..due to the heavy arrival happening on the release day JULY 22 many of the cities had declared public holiday...There is no need to keep everyone's eye wide open ..anything can be applicable for the arrival of Thalaivar

Maybe nothing else in the world had witnessed such an arrival in Indian Cinema in recent times.... we all love his style and his one liners but if it is excelled in great charisma which everyone like from the Super Star then no need to go for a seconday thoughts you can just woo and scream for the Style Manaan with all prides....There are still ways opened for booking tickets to meet the arrival of the king of styles...!!!!!
